Steel Blue Australian Workboots bring their VW Crafter for a Neat Mobile Sales Vehicle makeover.

The Client

The Objective

To provide a new VW Crafter medium wheelbase high roof van fitted out as a mobile showroom for displaying work boots and accessories throughout Europe.

The Result

We designed the internal fitout of the vehicle with a partition towards the rear which gave a small service and storage area at the rear of the vehicle and a larger showroom at the front with angled shelves displaying the companies work boots and accessories.

Vehicle Features

  • Full graphic wrap to outside
  • Manual wind-out awning with supports to the floor, logo on the fabric, colour coded sides and front which can attach to the awning and give an external covered area.
  • Internally mounted 43″ LED screen fitted to display wall
  • Steel Blue LED Backlit Logo on display wall above screen
  • Custom built angled shelves laminated for displaying boots
  • Cabinets below shelves with integral drawers and small fridge
  • Amp and speakers connected to vehicle radio and LED screen
  • Removable rear seat fitted with custom leatherwork and company logo
  • Double Seat and Drivers Captain seats fitted in cab with customer leatherwork and company logo, using Steel Blue boot leather, which can be used for driving and also form three seats in the showroom when spun around
  • Solar panels fitted to roof and linked to Solar charger, 2 No. Lithium batteries and Split charger from the alternator along with mains inverter giving 240 Volts power in the vehicle
  • Adjustable custom storage shelves in rear storage compartment for Boot and seat storage
  • Small 240 Volt fridge fitted in lower cabinets
  • LED colour-change lighting on ceiling and under shelves
