Trying to portray a whole whisky distillery process on the road was not the easiest project we have been involved in but it was certainly one of the most interesting. The double expandable full articulated trailer was built to give a complete tour around the William Lawson Export whisky distillery.
The tour went around Europe as it is an export- only whisky and enabled visitors to see the whole process. From the entrance they were given a sound and visual introduction and then were able to see first the replica copper stills which were made specifically for the unit and then the condenser which is a full size unit. Opposite this was the cooperage where the barrels are made and projection film of the process. We then made a replica of the mangers office where small copper stills were used to nose the whisky, and there was a full bar and library with leather armchairs.
All of the trailer, body, displays, audio visual, paintwork, graphics, cabinetry, were made in house and a visually stunning trailer produced.
