Another first for Neat Vehicles is this Iveco 5,600 Kg Neat Displayflex single expandable vehicle which is designed to be a quick setup vehicle and to be as flexible as possible with multiple uses and layouts, with a very green electrical system on board.
We designed this unit based on the Iveco Daily vehicle and it can be set up in around half an hour using the hydraulics powered by batteries on board the vehicle. The vehicle has two seperate hydraulic systems, the first of which is powered from the vehicle batteries and purely does the auto levelling of the vehicle by a remote control panel in the cab. The other is powered by the on board auxiliary batteries and does the hydraulic expansion of the pod. This unit powers out the pod and then lowers the hydraulic floor inside so it is a flush and level floor throughout. One feature of using the Iveco is that it gives you a flat floor throughout without wheel- arches so it gives ultimate flexibility in layouts. Another feature on this unit is that it has hinge-down steps rather than removable ones, the steps stow vertically and enable the unit to be a one person setup. Once deployed the polished stainless steel handrails drop in, which also allow the doors to either go back to them or past them to fold back to the body. The windows can fold back to enable a fully open frontage if required and the extension pod has hinge-down support legs.
Outside the unit there are two display panels which fold back when deployed to give a good size graphic area and then fold over the pod and windows to protect them during transit. Skirts slide into cader rails around the extension and along the graphic panels. One external feature on the unit is the LED lit Aico sign above the entrance steps which can stay illuminated when on the road if required. The vehicle has a split system air conditioning and heating unit along with four large 48 Volt lithium batteries and a 240 Volt inverter to give an 8 hour run time on an overnight charge, these are linked to two flexible solar panels on the roof to give sustainable power to the inside.
The lighting all consists of RGBW colour-change LED lighting apart from the white strip lighting which is Superbright white, all the lighting can be dimmed and is powered from the batteries.
Onboard the vehicle there is a 75″ Sony LED screen linked to a Bose sound Bar and built into a central column as well as a glass fronted fridge and storage cupboards. The two tone furniture can be laid out in multiple layouts and the central table can be either a desk or a counter and has a hinge- down Aico panel on one side if required.
The whole vehicle is wrapped including the pod roof and normal roof with images and logos everywhere so it can be recognised as an Aico unit wherever it goes.
