Clayton Glass launch their new Neat SASSY Sales and Service Support Vehicle

The Client

Clayton Glass are one of the oldest and largest glass producers in the UK, starting out in 1956 and growing to have several depots including one situated just a mile down the road from us.

The Objective

To provide a Sales and Service Support Vehicle to the sales and training teams with a quick set up and dismantle time, on a 3,500 Kg van which can be driven by anybody but still demonstrate all the different glasses and applications.

The Result

We designed the internal and external layout of the vehicle to make the vehicle stand out from others and give a walkround experience with a good open front entrance, and with a green electrical system not relying on a generator.

Vehicle Features

  • Full graphic wrap to outside
  • 4.5 metre hydraulic triangular canopy with LED lighting below
  • Internally vertically mounted 43″ LED screen fitted on display wall
  • External horizontal 55″ LED screen mounted behind Clayton Anti-reflective glass
  • 6 Stand-off display panels fitted to walls with graphics fitted
  • Cabinets along rear wall below display panels with feature top LED colour-change lighting
  • Heat Lamp Plinth custom built with sliding top for interchangeable glass
  • Front doors can fold out to one side to give open frontage
  • Double steps with punched aluminium and polished stainless handrails drop in.
  • Solar panels fitted to roof and linked to Solar charger, 2 No. Lithium batteries and mains inverter giving 240 Volts power in the vehicle, split charger from alternator
  • Low floor with easy access and only one step required
  • Small 240 Volt fridge fitted in lower cabinets
  • LED RGBW colourchange strip lighting on ceilings
  • 5 No. Roof lights with different tinted glass and heated glass.
  • Rear Graphic and electrically operated glass panels showing different features.
  • Interchangeable frosted glass samples over window
